“It’s perfectly fine to be unproductive on holiday”

This summer, Jönköping University (JU) is offering a dose of inspiration. Every week, staff from different parts of JU share their top summer tips – everything from hidden gems and day-trip destinations to personal favourites for relaxation and that holiday feeling. This tip comes from Sara Krohn, Executive Assistant at the Jönköping International Business School at JU.

What are your plans for this summer?

I’m going to spend a week in Scotland and then try to spend as much time as possible with family and friends.

Do you have a favourite spot in Jönköping or the surrounding area?

I might be a bit biased as I’m from Vaggeryd, but Vaggeryds Gårdscafé is a really cosy and lovely café. I love visiting it, especially in the summer.

What’s your best summer tip?

Tough question, but perhaps try not to have too many ‘must-dos’ (if it’s something you can influence yourself). It’s perfectly fine to be unproductive on holiday.
