The President has the overall responsibility for the university and is appointed by the Foundation Governing Board. 

Jönköping University Management Council

For the preparation of university-wide issues of strategic nature and to anchor proposals for decisions that the president or the Foundation Governing Board must make, there is a Management Council that meets every two weeks. The Management Council includes the below listed people and functions:
