The Department of Clinical Diagnostics (AKD) conducts education and research in diagnostic methods for healthcare. We train the specialists of the future in medical diagnostics. Research

Research at AKD is conducted in close contact with clinical activities and in collaboration with national and international universities. Research is conducted in the following areas/projects: immunology, molecular biology, clinical microbiology and radiology. The research is coordinated through the research environment Studies on Integrated Health and Welfare (SIHW).
