Department of Odontology and Oral Health Sciences, AOO

Here, the School of Health and Welfare's expertise in odontology and oral health is gathered. The Department of Odontology and Oral Health Sciences (AOO) offers education at both undergraduate and advanced levels for dental hygienists, as well as work related to the planned dental education program. Research is conducted in health promotion, with connections to epidemiology, social determinants, prevention, and clinical treatment research in multidisciplinary collaboration.

National and International Collaborations

The School of Health and Welfare and the Department of Dentistry have a large number of national and international partners in research, development and education. Collaboration exists with, among others, Science Park Jönköping, Linköping University, Malmö University, Sahlgrenska Academy, The Ohio State University, FISABIO foundation/Center for advanced Research in Public Health, Valencia.
