AFR conducts education and research primarily in the fields of occupational therapy, orthotics, and biomechanics.

Education

At the department, occupational therapists and orthopedic engineers are trained. Within the framework of the programs, there are several courses aimed at both students and professionals.

Research

Research at the School of Health and Welfare l is primarily coordinated through the research environment Studies on Integrated Health and Welfare (SIHW).
