Residence permit for doctoral studies
If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA and have been admitted to full-time doctoral studies in Sweden, you will in most cases need a residence permit for doctoral studies.
When applying, you must provide documentation confirming your admission to doctoral studies. Jönköping University can provide the required documentation for doctoral students admitted to the university.
If you have a hosting agreement with an approved research principal, you may instead qualify for a residence permit for research.
